If Trump is the distraction, and the MSM can't be depended on to inform

us about the really important stuff (because they are helping to distract us by focusing on Trump's tweets and other trivial stuff),
what are your suggestions about the best way for a person to stay informed about the important stuff going on--not his Trumpships's latest outrageous tweet(s)), but what’s going on with legislation that may change Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, as well as other really important stuff?

The danger is that Trump may serve also to act as a bit of a media screen from the really important news....the next danger is that the media and populous will be transfixed by his outrageous tweets, international snafus, racist remarks, and all round disgusting crudeness while the house and senate and others "quietly" walk away with social security, workers rights, and social equality gains.
