The Rs Coming For Our SS and Medicare...

1. Are paid $174,000 a year salary to serve in Congress

2. Qualify for a lifelong pension averaging $50,000 per year after only 5 years of service

3. Purchase healthcare insurance on the Obamacare exchanges, with most members on a gold-level plan...unless they're like Ted Cruz, who is on his wife's Goldman-Sachs-provided plan.

4. The average Senator/ House member has a net worth of just over a million dollars. Daryl Issa is the richest member of Congress, with a net worth of just under $450-million.

Any wonder why they don't give a shit about how the rest of us go through life, or what we are facing economically when - and if - we ever retire? They are basically immune for the hell they are planning to unleash on the rest of us.

that the Republicans are already talking about cutting SS. His answer is it won't affect us. He has a son 30 years old but screw him
as long as it doesn't affect me. They have people brainwashed into thinking SS will be bankrupt and they won't get it anyway. The reason they give it is bankrupt of course is the Democrats spent all the money.

These fuckers are so dumb that if you tried to explain 2+2 to them using fingers, they would ask you why you're waving hello at them.

9. His son needs to contribute in order to have money to pay your friend.

So then, the son, after paying in all his working life should do without?

What a selfish parent. He wants his kid's money and then will leave his son without the support he has?

What are we coming to, that a parent would think that way.

Reminds me of the French King, Louis the XV, "Apres moi, le deluge"

The expression has two possible meanings: 'After me, the deluge will come,' asserting that if the revolution ended his reign, the nation would be plunged into chaos; or 'After me, let the deluge come,' implying "I don't care what happens after I'm gone."

Think about it, "I don't care what happens after I'm gone."

..they COULD - if their idiot parents weren't Republican and weren't so damned ignorant. But they vote against their own kids. Just. Stupid.

They grouse about the government - damn "government run programs"

But the issue isn't the damn "big government". Our big issue is who the government is working for. And it's clearly not any of us or even them. They're SO bamboozled - believing all the bullshit from Ayn Randian Paul Ryan.

IDIOTS.

I wonder why the dems never counter with "tax-cut & spend conservatives?" They never counter the right's framing of the debate. Never.

5. Well, they have to buy their healthcare insurance like the rest of us

but they are highly compensated with their salaries funded entirely by our tax dollars. They can afford a health plan that is much better than that of the average Joe.
