Trump-Voting Coal Miners could lose black lung benefits if Obamacare is repealed

http://crooksandliars.com/2016/12/it-turns-out-trump-voting-coal-miners-need

It is going to be harder for Donald Trump and our Republican overlords in Congress to repeal Obamacare than they think. It turns out lots of people rely upon it for their health care, and they don't want it to go away.

Including lots of Trump voters, like the coal miners who voted for him in droves because they heard him say he'd bring back their jobs, but missed the part where he said he'd repeal Obamacare.

Here's the problem. Black lung claims were part of the Affordable Care Act, thanks to deceased Robert Byrd. Under the ACA, the burden of proof for black lung claims shifted from the miners to the mine owners. Consequently, many more miners have qualified for disability benefits and health care related to black lung disease, according to Business Insider.

Now, however, many in coal country may have reason to worry. Trump and House and Senate GOP leaders have vowed to make the repeal of Obamacare one of their first acts in January. If the Republicans carry through, Byrd’s black lung provision would likely be washed away along with the provisions for subsidized health insurance plans and expanded Medicaid for low-income Americans.

dismantling the ACA should be completely swamped by democrats.

The Rs are such simple minded jackasses, they have no idea the implications of dismantling ACA, and they need to own EVERY FUCKING LAST BIT OF IT.

The moment so much as one single democrat sides with a vote with them, they will hide behind it like they have the IRW.

That wasn't Bush, that as BOTH sides getting it wrong.

THEY NEED TO OWN THIS SHIT!

and would have these problems, didn't vote for Donald Trump.

I mean you'd think some wouldn't have right? Even in the most conservative county in the country there are a few blue voters.

Other than local politicians who are now on board with the American Party of Putin I do not see coal miners welfare a hot button item for Trumpsters. This might be an item some pollster should identify among the voting Trumpster traitors.

defiantly played at Trump rallies against the wishes of the band who had requested the campaign not to use it. A reversal of the lyrics sums it up: You won't always get what you need, but if you try sometimes you'll get what you want. Or perhaps precisely what was asked for???
