Mom in Arizona had to tell her kids: "People hate us for no reason."

Naomi Ellis, a fashion-design instructor at Phoenix College and former Brooklyn bar owner, related her disgust on her public Facebook page Friday morning, and the incident has drawn nationwide media attention.

"We never would have imagined that someone would spread so much hate here. However, this morning we were greeted with this horrible act of aggression," Ellis wrote, asking the public to help catch the suspects. "To think that someone would make such an effort to hurt and vandalize a family, is downright sickening."

"She was grateful because our officer helped turned it back into a menorah before her kids got up," Chandler police detective Seth Tyler tells New Times.

The Ellises couldn't be immediately reached, but Naomi Ellis is quoted in a Washington Post story as saying, "This is the real reality that we live in: People hate us for no reason or want us to feel scared for who we are."

10. The irony of that is Ivanka converted when she married Jared Kushner

Before marrying Jared Kushner in 2009, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s older daughter, converted to Judaism. She and her husband describe themselves as “Orthodox,” one of the three main strands of modern Judaism. (The others are Conservative and Reform.)

Ivanka and Jared Kushner reportedly keep kosher — that is, they follow the dietary restrictions in the Torah, eating no shellfish or pork and keeping milk products and meat products separate.

Ivanka has said in interviews that she and her husband keep a kosher home and observe the rules of Shabbat, including not working or using electronics, which is typical of that community. While more than two-thirds of American Jews tend to vote Democratic, according to Pew, the Orthodox are a bit more politically conservative: In a 2013 survey, 57 percent said they lean Republican, including both Modern and other Orthodox Jews. People in that group are also more likely than those in any other Jewish movement to say the United States is not supportive enough of Israel; in the Pew survey, more than half said that was true.

is Trump hasn't made people any uglier then they were before. They just feel free to express their hatred now. He's kinda like a giant bottle of Quervo, it doesn't make people ugly, it just sets the ugly free. So proud of the police officer who set things right. I so thought we, as a country, were better than this. But... we will be. Two steps forward one step back. We will get there.

I've been posting that on FB for some time now; "How are you going to feel when he DOESNT build that wall? Or deport 12 million people (which would take 50 yrs)? Or makes deals with the democratic side of the aisle? remember, he said all along "I'm a dealmaker! I make deals!"

and brainwashing of people not to accept/or tolerant others.

I watched this Netflix story about the rise of Hitler, and they interviewed surviving Nazi soldiers and asked them about their hate of the Jewish people some answered they never knew why they hated them they were just told to and never questioned it.
