From the House Majority Leader's Calendar Page

https://www.majorityleader.gov/2017-calendar/

Remember, the Congress starts its session on January 3.

The 2017 calendar of the U.S. House of Representatives is now available.

To ensure that the United States House of Representatives has ample time to enact a conservative agenda, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has increased the average number of days we will be in session by the equivalent of more than three legislative weeks – particularly during the first part of the year.

Understanding the importance of balancing responsibilities in Washington with duties back home, this calendar also provides a district work period nearly every month so that elected Representatives can stay connected to their constituents.

We'd better start watching what they're planning to do, I think. They're planning to have bills on Trumps desk, ready to sign, on January 21, 2017.

On January 21, Trump is going to have bills to sign. What will they be? Well, we'd better find out tout de suite.

The Republicans want us to be distracted by Trump in the meantime. Let's not do that.

California may be blue generally, but we do have red districts like mine that elect very conservative Republicans.

Right In the middle of the state. A terrible smelling place with a lot of stupid people.

I know someone who is related to him and she said he is a stupid mf'er and her part of the family that live in the Bay Area think he is a ghastly person.

bills that do support a conservative agenda. It's a pity we don't realize that before elections, isn't it?
