Keith Ellison on *AM Joy right now.....

"We're all gonna have to work together" - (clinton and sanders supporters)

On Donald Trump - We have to "Fight Trump at every turn" Trump cannot be trusted. His cabinet picks are terrible. We have no common ground with Trump. "We must fight Trumpism"

"We have to go to the neighborhoods, grocery stalls, Kentucky, everywhere ....explain to the people the damage he's (Trump) doing to them, his refusal to address the water crisis. We have to show how government can work for them"

He also said that even though the DNC chair is focused on electoral outcomes, voter suppression will be on the agenda.

Long Term challenge: Recapturing State seats with a 50 state strategy.

Tune in if you can. He's still on.

Ellison has too much baggage. The ADL has come out against Ellison on a 2010 speech that is disturbing. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=2673124 A major fund raiser does not want Ellison to be the nominee http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=8428019

Ellison has far too much baggage to be the next DNC chair

7. In my view, it is more of a lobbying group.

The obsession with the Ellison/NOI link, a link that Ellison disavowed, is part of the lobbying.

things, but they are not a lobbying group

Here is there position on Keith:

People do disagree with their position on things, and that includes ADL members.

Here is my take, I don't care who is the DNC chair, as long as they can reach out with a 50 state strategy. I am ok with Ellision, Perez, etc, as long as they can do the job and unite the party

The DNC members will elect the chair. Ellison has the support of Schumer, so he is probably the favorite. This is part of the campaign for those going for the DNC chair, and he should be able to handle the criticism from the ADL or from anyone who is for someone else. Incidentally, he is handling it fine, and it is actually a good thing he is dealing with it now. This is not unlike what President Obama did with the reverend Wright controversy

12. The ADL is not a lobbying group in the real world

Your claim is simply false in the real world. The ADL is responsible for many activities such as monitoring hate groups and fighting anti-Semitism. I contribute to the ADL on a regular basis and I have law partners and friends who are on the local board.

The ADL letter does not address the Nation of Islam issue but concern comments made by Ellison while he was a member of Congress.

We will pay the price for at least four years and perhaps longer with the crap the GOP will cast on this nation.

If you judge a man by his enemies, then Keith Ellison seems pretty great.
