This is all calculated. Give us the Blitzkrieg wingnut atrocities in the beginning and then soften the blow with what (on its face) appears to be a "normal" Supreme Court nomination. They are hoping to take the spotlight off the Muslim Ban and persuade people to view his nominee in a more favorable light (because he's not someone who is bat$hit crazy).

Honestly, why is a 70 year old man making kissy faces at the FBI director -- and perpetually winking at a 63 year old man who is around Trump more than his own wife? Hell Trump shows Bannon more affection than Melania. It is seriously creepy how he makes these physical displays of his infatuation with Bannon, winking at him, making certain that Bannon sits at every single table (Bannon often avoids the cameras but Bannon is at EVERY SINGLE meeting or conference or whatever Trump conducts), stands behind him (but not usually within the frame of tv cameras as Bannon likes to hide to imitate those who have "power" like Satan and Darth Vader (Bannon's claim not mine)).

5. That is what I thought I saw.

Made me think of images taken when LBJ was sworn in on Airforce One with Mrs. Kennedy standing next to him. There is an older man off to the right slightly behind LBJ with a white shirt and black bow tie on. At one point LBJ looks over at him and he winks and smiles at LBJ. It's creepy.
