A lot of nitwit Republicans, expecially those in deeply conservative states, are still in the honeymoon phase with these assholes. It will take some time before a government that no longer works at all and inconveniences them daily to get the stars out of their eyes.

Now he's got a few hundred appointments to bully. Government has several million civil service workers, though, and he can't do a thing about them, not hiring or firing or threatening their jobs. He will try to take on the civil service, though, trying his best to fuck them over and I think that's where you're going to see the first strikes.

The next few years are going to be fun to watch. Do take heart from this one fact: what is happening is not our fault, none of it.

You'd be surprised how much peace of mind you can get from that.
