They are even farther from figuring out a feasible game plan after their weakness and uncertainty over what steps to take next was totally exposed by the leaked tape.

Prominent R's were caught admitting that the Ryan- type proposals are deeply flawed and likely to make coverage less affordable and will backfire hurting them politically in 2018.

They were also caught admitting that any budget savings achieved by repealing ACA would be wiped out by costs of setting up a new plan so repealing and replacing makes no sense financially.
