But it is in Harlem. I'm sure he never goes there.
But how could someone who was a US citizen and educated here not have an idea who Frederick Douglass was. Or at least not know that he lived in the 19th century.

Seems kind of funny to say US Americans. Pretty much everyone knows you are talking about people from US when you say Americans.

Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will....find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them. -- Frederick Douglass

Beyond a certain point there is no return. This point has to be reached. -- Kafka

In their defense, you can't say that the current incarnation of feudal lords aren't doing everything in their power to help the peasants find out their Douglass limit, and reach that Kafkaesque point. -- alterfurz

with some facts and a few quotes, he would not bother to read it. So he finds himself in the uncomfortable position of pulling facts out of his ass. He placed himself there so he deserves all the derision he is going to get over his boneheaded remarks at his "little breakfast." At moments like that I'd like to slap him up side of his pumpkin head!! But instead, I will just leave this here:
