Separation of Powers is a thing of the past...

Trump basically told McConnell to go nuclear if the Dems attempt to fight the SCOTUS nomination.

The executive branch of the government is giving orders to the legislative branch.

Any system of checks and balances are gone.

Thus begins a downward slide into authoritarianism.

Either they report on it or they bow down to one-Party rule, and kill what's left that our Founding Fathers stood for--the American democracy.

To capitulate to DOTUS' demand to kill the filibuster ends our three co-equal branches of Gov't.

What did we expect? Last year the Senate GOP came out and said they wouldn't act on any Obama nominee, even when he gave them one that they had previously indicated was acceptable.

They had to know this day would come if the GOP candidate won, and WE had to know it would come if the GOP candidate won.

They're cooperating with Trump because they set this up last year!
