One could 'argue' that Sessions is at least knowledgeable about the position he has been nominated for. From the decade I have seen him on C-SPAN and in hearings, he is a hypocritical, vile and disgusting person, but that doesn't disqualify him for AG. DeVos doesn't seem to know shit about what she has been confirmed for. Plus she is a woman and they are always the first thrown under the bus. Certainly if they can intellectually oppose DeVos they should oppose Rick Perry and Ben Carson as incompetents too.
