I knew some of these types when I was in college. They fancied themselves as revolutionaries, but it was really just an excuse to hijack peaceful protests and vandalize property. When I called them out on how their shitty behavior was counterproductive to their supposed cause, they said I was a "sell-out".

Seems conflicted. Pepper spray, rubber bullets and flash bangs seem insufficient these days. There need to be more arrests for felony rioting (there were no arrests of any kind reported) as I believe pics of these protests show that they have gone well beyond what Gandhi and MLK endorsed.
