A federal judge in Los Angeles has added another legal ruling against President Trumps controversial suspension of travel from a group of predominantly Muslim countries, issuing an emergency order that forbids government officials from enforcing many of the new rules.

(17,984 posts)what the "temporary" in the temporary halt actually means? Does it mean the ban is on hold until it goes under review? Under review by whom, the SCOTUS? Is there some time limit for "temporary" or could it last for years?
