(115,674 posts)I did not vote for, do not support, am working against, and am sorry that Donald Trump's phone call was all too typical of this immature narcissistic small minded bully. The majority of us in the USA hold views similar to mine, and we hope you will maintain your patience while we rid ourselves of him and get back to our better relationship in the future.
Do you have need of nurses with 40 yrs experience?

(36,739 posts)Dump showed utterly contemptible disrespect to a wonderful ally of the United States.
It sickens me.

(11,686 posts)I will send him an apology also. I think it is important to let these other leaders know not all of us support him.

(1,934 posts)is a pretty clever character. As a barrister he took on Margaret Thatcher's government over her attempts to stop publication of the autobiography of the Assistant Director of MI5 Peter Wright. He won and 'Spycatcher' was published.
He also took on the British government and won, over compensation for Oz & UK infantry that had watched and become ill after the British nuclear tests at Maralinga in outback Australia in the 1950 /60s .
He became the legal counsel for Oz billionaire media mogul Kerry Packer and he's also a self made millionaire worth about $500M (probably more than Trump is worth). Ironically he was also a Goldman Sachs' banker before setting up his own merchant bank which he sold to Goldman Sachs.
I can imagine he would think Donald Trump is the epitome of a 'businessman' who gives capitalism a bad name.
He'd probably appreciate any messages of support.
