Recall?

I had a thought on the drive in to work this morning.

Why don't "we the people" show the Repukes who's really in charge of the country? If Ryan and McConnell want to kill the Russian investigation, let's start rattling cages about recalling them? I'm not familiar with either of their home districts, but surely there's some mechanism in place to get that done?

And, if the Repuke controlled Congress refuses to hold little orange hands accountable, let's start rattling sabres demanding the ability to recall el Presidente too.

Nothing will get done, probably, but perhaps it will start putting the fear of 'god' in them.

I mean marching and protesting in mass is all well and good, but it really does not make any difference if the people being protested can shut it out by just closing their curtains and turning off the TV. We need to make these people fear for their jobs if they don't listen.

This comes up all the time. While you can recall some local and state elected officials, you can't recall people in Congress or Presidents. Period.
