Oh yea that makes a whole healthy heaping shit bit of sense. The Republican plan is clear, let their supporters commit genocide against the rest of us.

by 95% and as they leave give them $100 and a gun and ammunition. That should be just glorious. I think that we should be able to send our five year old kids into the gun store to buy a gun also. That will be wonderful. The ONLY ones in this country who should not be allowed to have guns are females of any age, race, income, or social status. All of that suggested make just as much sense.

I have a RWNJ brother, so I learned all about it.

Much, much more than I ever wanted to know.

He thinks Hitler was "misunderstood" and simply "went too far".

He also thinks blacks would be better off as slaves, because they need to be taken care of.

He got a confederate flag tattoo for his "heritage". He got really mad when I reminded him that he's from Wisconsin and only had Union soldiers in his family tree. He may have been more angry at how hard I laughed at him.

a felon from buying a gun. I was at a gun shop when a woman called the salesman about purchasing a certain gun.
It turned out this woman's son (a convicted felon) tried to buy that same gun the day before and couldn't pass the background check.
I heard the salesman tell the women he recognized her name and her son had tried to buy that gun the day before. He told
her that would be an illegal straw purchase and he wasn't going to jail to sell any gun. Of course her or her son could buy
a gun off of any John Doe without a check in the parking lot.

Lawmakers are moving toward scrapping an Obama administration rule requiring gun background checks for Social Security recipients mentally incapable of managing their own affairs.

The regulation was issued in the final months of President Barack Obama’s term. It’s one of a handful congressional Republicans were rolling back, knowing they had a new ally in the White House.

The rule required reporting people who receive disability benefits and have a mental health condition to the FBI’s background check system. But critics said the restrictions would have also applied to disability recipients who needed financial help managing their benefits.

The National Rifle Association has long opposed the rule.

AH -

On guns, Obama’s rule required the Social Security Administration to forward the names of certain disabled beneficiaries for a database of individuals ineligible to purchase a firearm.

if she had access to a gun. She would pass a background check that doesn't take into consideration that she needs a rep payee, because she's never been involuntarily committed or arrested. But she's a rapid cycling bipolar with poor impulse control who goes into extreme rages in some stages that are either directed inwards suicidally or outwards towards myself and other family members.

Fortunately for us, as rep payee I pay all her bills directly and give her discretionary spending money in small enough amounts she'd never have enough for even the cheapest saturday night special if the thought crossed her mind. But every situation is different and this is a very poor decision, someone will die because of this.
