What a pitiful contrast the private WH quarters must be to the Obamas'

Granted, no one knows what happens behind closed doors...but think of how warm/loving their private residence must have been...Wife, kids, pets...husband who (per reports) made sure he was home for dinner with the family.

And compare that to what there is now. Drumf by himself (his daughter and son in law can't be with him 24/7), obsessing over cable news, Twitter, other media sources....brooding over how he is being mistreated by the media, seeing all the protests, having the courts go after his EO's, twittering the night away in the wee hours of the morning. No spontaneous happy photos of being with the family or mingling with locals, etc.. No pictures of him romping with the grandkids. No group pictures of him and life long friends just hanging out, playing ball, relaxing.

His official WH photographer must be taking a lot of naps/breaks cuz how many pictures can one take of someone with no real life. Oh, look...here is the 235th picture of him behind a desk and Bannon, et al slumping in chairs looking like they split and downed a bottle of NyQuil

What a pathetic existence.

Besides maybe going to a restaurant for the extremely rich (like he did in NYC) what is there for him to do...no one is gonna want to see him walk into a place/business like Pres Obama or VP Biden did when they were in DC. His only "outting" will be flying down to his resort in Florida. Other than that...he's stuck in the WH by himself except if he goes to do another disasterous visit at a government department like he did at the CIA offices.

He can out on a pompous act when he is on camera but he must be one pathetic, lonely, miserable person...

You forgot all about the McDonald's and KFC packaging littering the floor of his private quarters.

There's thousands of ladies in pink hats right outside his door, just waiting for him to come out!

he doesn't have a loving relationship with his 'wife' or whatever he calls her.

My bet is she is perfectly happy with the situation as it is. Her with the help, her son and all the gold leaf

ETA: He's a miserable sumbiotch and wants everyone around him to be likewise

10. Not only the private quarters, but the White House milieu and the surrounding community in general.

I can't imagine these things happening in the Trump White House: Science Fairs, Girl Scouts camping on the lawn, the Easter egg roll, the Halloween party, the organic garden (which many school groups helped to cultivate), serving meals at a homeless shelter, painting community centers, visiting local schools... the list goes on and on. Sigh.

President Obama and the first lady dropped by a campfire in their backyard Tuesday night, where a group of 50 Girl Scouts are spending the night.

The campers shrieked and squealed with delight as the president and first lady walked out of the residence and toward the circle where they were singing songs.

"What are you doing in my yard?" the president joked.

"We're making history on your lawn," one girl shouted.

The group was in fact, making history, the first ever to camp out on the White House South Lawn.

Twenty blue and white tents were pitched in the shadow of the building's grand columns, next to a climbing rock wall.

The Obamas pulled up a hay bale and sat with the girls, who are ten and eleven, chatting about the outdoors and singing songs.
