White House Leaks Are a Sign of Dysfunction

https://politicalwire.com/2017/02/02/white-house-leaks-sign-dysfunction/

SNIP........

“A feeling of distrust has taken hold in the West Wing of Donald Trump’s White House and beyond, as his aides view each other and officials across the federal government and on Capitol Hill with suspicion,” Politico reports.

“The result has been a stream of leaks flowing from the White House and federal agencies, and an attempt to lock down information and communication channels that could have serious consequences across the government and at the Capitol, where Trump tries to implement and advance his agenda.”

“In the White House itself, one top aide tried to take the office slated for another aide, Steve Bannon is looking to hire his own PR guru, and the details of Trump’s calls with foreign leaders, typically closely held, are suddenly out in the open. The starkest manifestation of the paranoia has played out with Trump’s executive orders, as many key players were left in the dark as the White House forged ahead with sweeping, controversial policies.”

I mean, nothing will make their little heads spin faster than to plant fake news and make them defend it or denounce it. Kellyskank Spinway is already in way over her head and recent pronouncements of hers tell me she's really struggling.

Spicer has experience trying to put lipstick on a pig. Too bad he is not good at it!

A bullet proof vest maker could start a marketing campaign with that. "You don't just have to be in the trump administration to need one of these babies!"

It is something I would expect of Kim Jong-un but his people don't know what the internet is and most of his people could not afford a personal device that would connect them.

it's not only rational, it's a stroke of propaganda genius. He speaks directly to his base.
You don't need a phone. Don't underestimate the technical capability of his base. They don'rt all play banjos - a segment of them use Tor, for god's sake.

We have to stop thinking about Trump in the context of a President.
He's not a President, he's the figurehead of a wrecking crew that wants to use his base to tear America limb from limb.
If you look at him that way, his actions begin to make sense.
He's still insane, but his actions are coherent.

And that is the truly evil part of this whole piece of American Kabuki theater.
