Trump, the GOP, and the War on Women

I wrote the below in response to yet another proposed law against women, necessary health services, and abortion. I was asked to post it as an OP.

Though rarely shy about their hate, since Trump, and even with Bush, the nutcases have gotten bolder and bolder.

They won't be happy until we're out of the work force, in miserable marriages, and dropping out babies once a year.

We are to been seen, verbally, physically, and sexually abused, and to remain quiet about it all.

Because they really do believe that's our place in life.

Otherwise, they wouldn't blame the victims of rape and domestic assault.

They wouldn't attack single mothers. Going so far to even say single mothers need to find a husband.

They wouldn't mock us for not wanting to be sexually harassed.

They wouldn't try to prevent a women from getting birth control and a needed medical procedure.

And they wouldn't constantly attack those on necessary and needed social services.

They wouldn't pay us less.

They say how much they hate women all the time. And what they hate the most is they can't control us, and they very much want to control us.

I think a lot of people would be surprised, even somewhat scared, if they knew just how angry women get at constantly having to explain why we are people too.

Both parents have work to support their families now. The men can't do it alone anymore. They messed up their own "perfect" 1950s world.

Any gains we've made in the last 50 years are quickly unraveling. Pretty soon they'll want to deny us the right to vote.
