Trump administration leaks like a sieve (Original Post)

(82,849 posts)1. There are a lot of competing interests in his administration
This isn't so much a team of rivals as it is a snakepit of butthurt. Every action President Trump takes is going to create winners and losers among his staff, and somebody's going to feel like he got shafted. These people are not political professionals who understand give and take. They're trolls, cast-offs and losers who keenly feel the sting of rejection for every slight, real and imagined. Pouty insiders are always going to find a sympathetic ear in the media. The damaging leaks are evidence that the Trump administration isn't very disciplined or controlled, and that failure goes right to the top.
