Every morning, I wake up to the same question-what kind of fresh hell do we have today

my dr. has put me on an anti-anxiety med along with all the other meds I have to take.

Stress is very harmful to Crohn's people.

he asked me why I was so distraught. I told him all of my problems related to income and career. In addition, I mentioned that blotus worries the hell out of me. My dr. said yes he was enough to make everyone have anxiety and that we should be worried.

As if life isn't stressful enough we have to worry about what new terrible news is coming out daily. Part of me wants to just disconnect and stop watching the news entirely but I feel it is important to try to stay informed even though most news is bad news it seems.

Usually, I can work out my stress at the gym. But, now the rubes in one of the classes I take are dragging in their political shit, so I have to readjust my class schedule to get away from those assholes. I have never seen so many stupid. ignorant bed-wetters in my life.

I wonder whether I should turn on the computer or the TV at all. I'm simultaneously fascinated in a ghoulish way, the way one might be when driving past a horrible car wreck, and filled with dread because I know it will be awful in a new and unexpected way. And I'm thinking I might not want to know, but I also have to know. I just can't believe this monster duped so many people.

But, her emails!

But every morning i'm waking up as the Today Show is beginning and I wonder what kind of new chaos is going to be swirling around Trump today?

were having extreme anxiety problems (on top of the ones they already have) due to Trump and what he is doing to this country. I am so glad I can talk to her about this and that she is on our side and agrees with us. It makes me feel less crazy.

was experiencing the same thing.

He is usually not very political but when I told him I was having anxiety about blotus, he actually commented that blotus was enough to cause everyone anxiety

I teach Government and US History.

before I got sick, one of my students constantly talked about how much he loved trump. He was quite a pain about it. I had a very hard time trying to keep my bias to myself. I haven't been in my classroom since the day of election. I imagine this kid is very thrilled.

"What fresh hell can this be?"

I think it may be worse for me, because I wake up in the afternoon, after he has inflicted his daily dose of bullshit

My alarm goes off and I hit snooze. But as my mind drifts back to sleep, I remember who is in the office of President and I am wide awake!

I am pretty sure my hair has gotten more gray in just these past two weeks.

I don't have a regular doctor, I "self medicate" with plants. But the other day after reading some news I told my husband I bet I could go to a doctor and just SAY I am not a tRump supporter and he will get out the prescription pad for some Xanac or something along those lines.

My only hope now is seeing the marches and connecting with others online! And telling myself the power of the people will prevail!
