My brother came by.

I got his W-2s to do his taxes.
I don't think he voted for Trump because he didn't vote. He seems to think that the Trump moves are amusing. He is a moron. However, he does understand more than most. He told me that the problem was that Trump is crazy.

I told him that I had disowned or been disowned by almost all relatives and friends because of their Trump support. I said that the only reason I opened my door to him was because he had helped me a lot before. Then I said "Don't push it."

I also tod him he knew this was different. He knew because I had never acted this way before no matter the election. That should be a big clue.

He zigs and zags. He believes some of the stupid GOP crap. He has shrieked about guns before but he that seems to be the only thing he is still blathering about.

He has really helped me a lot and isn't a religious hypocrite. He has a temporary pass for now.

About 10 years ago he worked for my cousin on his farm. A lot of the basic work was done by Hispanic immigrants, illegal or not. He asked to buy him a small Spanish/English dictionary and one of the learn it yourself courses. He wanted to learn enough to talk to them. He said they needed help and he wanted to at least be able to understand them. That's why I haven't thrown him in Lynches River. Ya never know, ya know.

so keeping him around is a good idea. I can stand alienation and apathy. I can't stand people who think they're all that and a bag of chips because they voted for a madman just to piss the rest of us off.

3. Brothers and sisters... In my worldview where time is an annoying illusion, I honor my parents..

by extending their love for my sibling into the future that they didn't live to see.

They aren't alive in 2017...they haven't been alive since the 1980s..but they don't have to be powerless because of that fact. They are still alive in my heart.

So when I might get upset that my sibling is on the opposite side politically, I let the homunculi, the parents that live in my heart, take over.

He is still my mother's little boy, still her first-born son. I love her still, so I have no choice.

Cousins and strangers, however, don't get quite the same consideration.
