KittyWampus has suggested The Great Seal of the US as a symbol. The inscription "E Pluribus Unum" in the eagle's mouth means "Out of many, one." which for me is a perfect positive concept - the antithesis of what the Republicans have pissed out upon the nation - a patently demonic philosophical principle: alt.wounded.soul.white.male.domme.destroyer.abuser.a-hole
Hell, no. It's not surprising so many people know in their gut that they absolutely must RESIST. Now.
Out of many, one is what the founders had in mind, and that guiding principle is still good enough for me, even if Republicans and their tax-&-draft-dodging anti-hero Trump want to piss on it.
Also, the eagle imagery of the Great Seal is so American. Native peoples always note that the eagle flies highest of all creatures, and lifts up the eyes and the hearts of ALL THE PEOPLE, no exceptions. The eagle is a unifier, and an uplifter.
I feel The Great Seal as a symbol for the resistance could help to remind all of us - Trumplicans included - what America is really all about.

Wearing cheap metal "Made in China" lapel pins, the republican party, Inc. has for 20 years or so been trying to impose a corporate copyright on the flag symbol as if they OWNED IT, and thereby to narrow the flag's meaning down to a select sliver of the people. But that is so wrong. So anti-American. The flag belongs to all the people.
That's just the way it is. No Deviant Corporate Badass Political CultChurch-Corporation (IKGOP) can patent the flag, and wrest it away from Americans.
The Great Seal of America (all of America) as a symbol for the resistance would help return the flag to all of America.
