I'd like to suggest PEOPLE POWER for the name of the resistance.

Because we, the people, ARE the power. Too often, they forget WHY they were elected by us to do their jobs. They go in there and get overtaken by greed and power. And we need to remind them that they work for US. That we entrusted them to their positions to further the Republic for the people. ALL the people. Not just their chosen few. It is the PEOPLE that lent them the power. And we can take it back. The power was NEVER THEM. And they need to be reminded of that.

1. I like it. And I agree that we need a name. It seems ridiculous to me, and

I really lit into Recursion when he suggested we needed a slogan before the election. I thought it was demeaning and shallow. But I have been proven wrong and he has been proven right.

We do need a frickin slogan. Sad but true.

And your suggestion is a good one.

I was thinking along the lines of 'True Americans United" or "Liberty's Torch" or something from Emma Lazarus like the New Colossus (which is the title of the Statue of Liberty poem), or phrases from that poem like "the Beacon Hand"

2. I like people power also

But I had come up with this Idea earlier

R Regardless of Race or Religion
I Indivisible not to be divided by hate
G Gun safety Keep as protected by the 2nd amendment but have the right make them safer
H Health care equal to the same health care as our leaders
T Taxes right to be taxed equally and fairly everyone the same
S Sexual orientation treated equal regardless of if your a man or a woman
