Periscope and protests

Periscope seems a logical choice for anyone participating in or on the periphery of a protest. Unlike Meerkat, videos are accessible for 24 hours, which could mean the difference between a night in jail and swiftly bonding-out. I've been browsing recent protests around the world against tRump, and I wish I had the time to archive some of these videos. They could be informative and instructive for protesters domestically.

I'm interested in hearing others' experiences with Periscope, along with tips or suggestions you may have.

at least on my iphone 6S plus.

Do others notice this?

If using one for protests bring a battery charger with you that is pre charged and all you have to do is connect it and charge, you can buy these at Costco and elsewhere.

If I thought there were any chance that something would go down, I would use the app judiciously...or bring a portable power source.
