If there are any killers it is the racists, militia, Christian fanatics and right wingers. It seems like our progressive leaders, civil rights protectors, and such are the one's who have been killed. Two Kennendys, Martin Luther King, civil rights workers, Eldridge Cleaver, et al.

And look at who is making comments about needing another Kent State. And who is making threats and calling for hunting licensed for liberals. And what party made life threats during the campaign?

He bends fact until it does not appear factual anymore. The US is not innocent. We aren't. That much is fact. Our CIA has been involved in coups around the world. We have propped up dictators. Our own FBI subverted groups like the Black Panthers and undermined Martin Luther King Jr. We do have a history of very shady political dealings.

But that is not what Trump is talking about.

What I mentioned above was always done for the benefit of the oligarchs. It is a shameful history of the power of the US government being used to deny power to the people. It is something that we should be mindful of and that our leaders should be ashamed of and should be pushing to change.

Instead, Trump is using it as a justification of allowing a dictator to meddle in our affairs. He is touting it as if it were something positive or at least something that should not be addressed because it is somehow "the way things work".

The man is stupid and evil and that is a scary combination.

Already we have lost a Navy Seal and an 8 year old girl. But I expect him to order something truly malicious to let us know he's the boss. Will it be a protestor? A journalist? An SNL writer or performer? A city - like Chicago? It is clearly in the forefront of his mind if the order has not already gone out yet.
