(86,518 posts)I haven't been watching but I am glad to hear that the Falcons are winning so far.
I have recently relocated to a different part of my state and my housemates tell me that the Falcons owner has a big place in the area, I know which one it is - massive place. The cool thing is that it's not a well to do county, lots of ranchers not making a lot and low wage towns, but that this owner of the Falcons spent lots of $$ helping the county by paying for a lot of services that our tax base couldn't cover from several fire stations and equipment to helping rebuild the schools, now that's a rich person I can have a positive attitude about.
Go Falcons!!! Kick those cheaters' asses!! This will make me feel better for a day or two.

(1,089 posts)Ryan is from my neighborhood. Played for the Marsh Creek Eagles, the Downingtown Whippets, and went to St. Phillips and James. Very proud.

(21,596 posts)here in Georgia! Go Falcons! 28 to 20 with 4 minutes to go!
It's great to see awesome former UGA Bulldog Malcolm Mitchell playing for the Patriots in his first season in the NFL. He broke his elbow early in the season. He's got a brace on the arm. Be careful out there Malcolm!
Malcom's an advocate for children's literacy. He has his own children's reading/literacy organization and has even written a children's book about reading! While at UGA, he visited local elementary schools in order to encourage kids to read.

(2,198 posts)The coach has lost the game for them. Just stupid!! Just stupid! Over coaching again loses a game for a team that is playing their hearts out.

(10,893 posts)right now. The Falcons squandered a 25 point lead in the 2nd half, and now they remain without a Lombardi. This type of SB loss might feel even worse than a blowout.
Ligyron
(7,624 posts)How in the hell did they blow that lead and collapse in the 2nd half?
never mind, that's rhetorical.
Those damn Patriots. I don't know how they managed it but you have to give them credit.

(65,170 posts)could appreciate that it became a good game. I won't overreact like has been done lately and say instant classic, but that was a historic comeback.
I admit I do not like all the injuries in football. But they make the choice to entertain us. And deserve to be paid very well for it.
