Does anybody do that? I'm thinking I will, when they (probably) vote to confirm people that
the Republican president has put forth for positions they are unqualified for.

(38,958 posts)1. I usually don't
I contact them to let them know how I feel about a nominee or an issue, but once the vote it over I move on to the next thing.

(1,751 posts)2. Call your representative!
They want your vote. I have called my senator, who voted against the amendment to import prescription drugs from Canada and also voted for Tillerson. Told him he has to work hard now to gain my vote. That's two serious strikes against him. Yeah, it's water under the bridge but there's more water and another bridge coming. I also called to let him know ahead of his vote how I wished he would vote.
Call. Call! CALL!!

Thanks, I'll tell them that.
