If Hillary Clinton were President right now ... and she were being lambasted for being such a horrible President ... and somebody would bring up that Trump would be a horrible President who would tell bald-faced unbelievable lies, alienate allies, create a constitutional crisis, attack the legitimacy of a veteran federal judge, trash-talk the US andsoforth ...

How long until even the Left would turn on him for making up such completely outlandish, incomprehensible, laughable and unrealistic claims?



I mean, come on. Trump is a horrible person, but THAT is just ridiculous. Not even Trump would be this bad as a President. He has all those advisers! They're gonna reign in on him! He would have been the bloviating figure-head and the GOP-apparatchiks would have shut him out from the decision-making and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Telling obvious lies to the public! Ha! Trump is a manipulator but not stupid!
Constitutional crisis? Yeah, as if the GOP would have let him.
Attack the separation of powers? Not even Trump would have been insane enough to try that. That's the fastest way to impeachment!!!

You really should stop that. We all agree that Trump would have been a bad President, but your over-the-top claims are making us progressives sound like lunatics.

1. Funny about alternate universes

Most people, on some level, realize there are alternate earth dimensions. We have even made rather successful TV shows/books about it, "Sliders" and "Man in the High Castle" are the best examples.
That being said, it is also natural to feel your Earth is the main one, the reality all others are a version of, a topic also covered on Sliders.

I realized on election night we were not that "main reality" but merely a wild off-shot.

My only solace is that in that reality a Clinton or Sanders type is making their world a better place for everyone.
