(9,313 posts)... to Filibuster ALL of the appointments. And EVERY piece of legislation that comes up from the right-wingnuts in the house.
Doesn't matter that they gave up the "right" when they went -- partially -- nuclear.
Before anything goes to a floor vote, one of our so-called "leaders" needs to stand up, take the floor, and keep talking for as long as they possibly can. That person needs to be surrounded by a protective barrier of their Democratic colleagues. The inevitable arrests by Capital police ordered by Repubs; the spectacle of civil disobedience, is something this country needs to see.
The message must be LOUD and CLEAR.
THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED. Stopping DT and the Right-winguts in the House and Senate is CRITICAL.

By October 11, the American Medical Association received a report of several deaths caused by the medication. The Food and Drug Administration was notified, and an extensive search was conducted to recover the distributed medicine. Frances Oldham Kelsey assisted on a research project that verified that the excipient DEG was responsible for the fatal adverse effects. At least 100 deaths were blamed on the medication.
The owner of the company, when pressed to admit some measure of culpability, infamously answered, "We have been supplying a legitimate professional demand and not once could have foreseen the unlooked-for results. I do not feel that there was any responsibility on our part." Watkins, the chemist, committed suicide while awaiting trial.
(On edit: This is the same company that invented disposable douche bags. You can still get Massengill Disposable Douche, but another company makes it now.)

He's one of the Silicon Valley nerds who lucked into the right startup and consequently thinks he's a genius in all areas.
