It is amazing....

watching and listening to the Democratic senators in their on-going filibuster...you would think they were speaking to the entire senate...hand jesters, vocal intonations, animated, turning from side-to-side like they would to acknowledge everyone as if the senators were actually in session...amazing

It's also why the camera only focuses on the podium - even when they ARE in session, not many are actually there. What they do is all for show.
