in my lifetime, the bar for the worst gets lower, lower, lowest?
when i was 18 Nixon was the worst
When i was 30 Reagan was the worst (still thinking he may have inflicted the most long lasting damage that led to where we are today)
when i was 50 gw was the worst
I'm 61, and trump is the worst possible president, scaring up my most dreadful nightmares yet. and he has shocked even those.

not good times for my country, or what used to be my country.

And, as Thom Hartmann credibly points out, not a one of them legitimately elected. From Tricky Dick's secret deal to extend the Vietnam War, to Raygun's deal with the Iranian ayatollahs to hold the hostages, to b1's getting in on ronnie's coattails, to the outright election theft for chimpy and the orange turd--illegitimate all.

a cretin the like of tRump wouldn't even had a chance to follow him. The problem so many that hated President Obama was because of his skin color, not his policies.

They used his policies to cover for his blackness. You and I know this

Being in Chicago for his farewell speech, thinking about how happy I was that the Obamas were all alive and healthy after eight years in this crazy country, I realized that I was willing to face four years of Trump if that was some gigantic karmic trade we had to make.

I care for them as if they were family.
