Nothing remains the same.

Heraclitus said that change is the one constant in life.

As Republicans rush to approve one incompetent after another to run our government, they seem to think that nothing will change between now and the next election? But, there will be change.

Trump and the Republicans may win over the majority of the people with their incompetent and chaotic politics? But, more and more people may turn against them? One thing we can be assured of is that the reality will change.

How popular will Betsy DeVos be 18 months from now? How popular will Donald Trump be? And how popular will be the decisions of the Republican Party? The circumstances will change between now and then.

The times they are a'changin'...

but the GOP has steadily gained power as the Democrats have lost power. So, absent a significant change.............

A sudden thought about all these clueless and/or classless appointees, are they set ups? I mean, are these people being placed in order to increase the outrage should something "teristy" happen to them? Are they disposable to some behind the curtain?

Maybe a brain fart but a thought that came to me while reading your post.
