Trump has no intention of governing

Everything is ONLY about him. His travel ban is only to spur his minions and claim he did what he promised. He just left out the majority of Muslims from nations he does business with. Absolutly no intent to protect us from any threat.
He is still running for election, which is the only thing in his life he has succeeded at. Now he is running for re election, hence his filing intent for 2020.
He has learned that if he throws out a bone the press chases it. The larger the lie the more time they are distracted from what he is really up to.
While pundits, courts, and the public at large obsess over the minutia of details of his travel ban, he is securing support for a radical appointee to the USSC.
Nothing of national interest will matter at all to him. He is the center of his world and we all revolve around him.
Power is his only purpose.

He seems to be setting the scene to prioritise big business. Th travel ban seems kinda counter intuitive to this though!

Trump fits right in. Repubs are at heart authoritarians. They want to rule, not govern. If you know the difference and care about that, you're probably a Democrat.
