Disapproval .. reached a new high on Monday in Gallup's daily tracking poll.

(2,795 posts)I still find it hard to believe that there is even that many that think this shit show is good. I expect to see a solid 30% something percent that comprises of the constant deplorables - but who on earth are the others?

I know many real people that still like him.

(2,795 posts)No matter what, there is always going to be around 30% that is the constant base the constant deplorable that will never change. I expect that. But 42% is above that base percentage and I'm just wonder who are they? I know my MIL is one. Someone I thought was liberal to moderate for years and years, but has jumped on the Trump train. I thought she might be an exception more than the rule, but apparently, there are people who you thought were more rational but have a vein of prejudice and paranoia deep inside and Trump pulls it to the surface

(2,198 posts)Can't get over the fact that 35% of NEA voted for Trump. I do know quite a few racist and sexist teachers, though. They tend to hide it well for the most part but the kids suffer under them.
