World's first contraception app that is as effective as a condom is given the seal of approval

The app is believed to be the first software of its kind to be certified as a contraception alongside condoms, the pill and intrauterine devices (IUDs).

Dr Elina Berglund, who created the app with her husband Dr Raoul Scherwitzl, said: 'Women around the world are interested in exploring effective non-hormonal, non-invasive forms of contraception.

'And now they have a new, clinically verified and regulatory approved option to choose from.'

11 years later, I used that + an ovulation predictor kit for the first 3 failed attempts at artificial insemination.

The 4th time (I had to talk really hard to convince him to let us try a 4th time) I just told the doctor I was ovulating (based on different characteristics of ovulation, as I'd been using since the late 70s, to predict a 6-hour window for the start of my periods).

. . . I now have a 26 year old daughter.

But basal temperature has NO connection to ovulation, for me.

*** and really exciting news *** my daughter recently connected with her donor-dad. An out-of-the-blue match via one of the genetic screening companies. Unbelievable!
