Germany was sucked in by fascisim and soon it took lives and international intervention to stamp it out.
While there are still more of us 40 some percent here have seriously flawed thinking and believe a lot that just is not true.

(4,407 posts)First, Trump has instilled such a deep distrust for polls in his followers, I wouldn't be surprised if they enjoy screwing with pollsters.
Second, I think it shows that our real enemy is ignorance. I think most right leaning Americans don't pay much attention to the news and that they form their opinions on very little information. I think we picture the average Trump supporter sitting around and reading Breitbart and watching Fox 24/7 when, in reality, that's just the vocal ones.
