John McCain is right - Donald Trump is wrong.

Without proper planning or consultation, Donald Trump decided to raid the compound of an al Qaeda leader in Yemen. Reportedly, the UAE were his Arab partners in the mission.

When the Navy Seal Team landed in Yemen, they discovered that they were surrounded by enemy fire. They had to evacuate. In doing so, one Navy Seal was killed and 2 or 3 were wounded, according to reports. Also, an expensive aircraft had to be destroyed on the ground by our own missiles. By all accounts, it was a major failure.

But, Trump and his spokesman, Spicer, insisted on calling it a "success" and praised the "hero" that died on the mission. John McCain called it a "failure". Trump became very pissed and starting tweeting. They said it was a disservice to our soldiers that are killed or wounded to call it a "failure".

But, that is what it was - John McCain was right.
