Trump just launched new claim that thousands of ‘illegal’ Mass. voters were bussed to NH for election

President Donald Trump is still fuming about “illegal” voters that allegedly cost him a popular vote victory against Democratic rival Hillary Clinton this past fall.

Politico reports that, during a meeting with several senators this week, the president claimed that he had lost the state of New Hampshire because a bunch of voters from Massachusetts were illegally bused up to vote in the Granite State.

Shortly after Trump made the claim, Politico’s sources say an “uncomfortable silence” fell upon the room, as the ten senators present did not have any immediate reaction to the president’s claims. Ever since being elected, Trump has repeatedly claimed that “illegal” voters cost him the election, and he’s vowed to run an investigation into the matter.

Despite his bold claims, however, Trump has yet to produce any evidence that such fraud really occurred, and his main source for the voter fraud story is a conspiracy theorist who refuses to divulge any evidence to back up his claims.

. . .showing up at the polling places? Does NH have a law that election judges have to be legally blind?

Remember this idiot says THOUSANDS. You can only get about 60 people on a bus. So, there were a fifty or a hundred buses and nobody saw them pulling up to polling places? This is dumber than dumb.

Does he think the polling places just let anyone come in and cast a vote, without any kind of due diligence to check their registration?

"Uncomfortable silence..." I bet. Probably with at least a couple people having to restrain themselves from doing that pretend-cough "coughBULLSHITcoughcough" thing

Mitch McTurtle has already said he won't fund an investigation. Which is going to piss off the base. A Senate investigation would probably lead to hints of election fraud, as opposed to voter fraud. He's painting his party into a corner. The Dems oughta support him on this. Drive a wedge between the Trump worshippers and the GOP!

with a half dozen average citizens who have voter roll books in front of them. You tell them your name, you show them your PHOTO identification and they give you a ballot as they check off your name. You then vote and return your ballot to a similar table and give your name and are checked off again. It is highly unlikely a handful of people could get through the process, much less thousands. I'm so sick of Don's BS. If anyone is going to alter the vote, they'll do it via hacking not in person voting.

That fact. Our goal should be to contain him, take the House back and some Senate seats and get local Pols elected in 2018. Then we destroy Trump and republicans in 2020.

drumph consistently recycles debunked conspiracy theories, at some point it is not just repeating
an idea until it becomes common belief for business or persuasive purposes.

Does he really believe this is true?

If not, does he care at all that he can't begin to prove this obvious lie? There were obviously no voter fraud buses.

If he does believe it's true and can't let it go, what is the diagnosis? I know he's a narcissist but this is something deeper than that.

Not one of them had the guts to say, "Mr. President, with all due respect, you're talking out your ample pasty backside."

I don't think "Profiles in Courage" is going to need an updated edition anytime soon with the craven bunch of cowards running our country right now.
