Los Angeles Times:Someone dumped 14 plastic tubs containing a multitude of cats some of which were pregnant outside a popular feline sanctuary in Central California early Thursday morning.
Workers arrived to the Cat House on the Kings, in Parlier, Calif., and found the tubs carefully placed at the far end of their parking lot, said Beth Caffrey, a spokeswoman for the cat sanctuary.
Just to leave them in the cold and rain is not OK, she said.
Someone drilled air holes through the plastic and fitted each tub with a bed and blankets. Inside the tubs, workers found three male cats and 11 female cats, three of which were pregnant and one who had recently given birth to two kittens. The kittens, she said, were only a few days old.

With all of the issues regarding "Trumpilthinskin" and what he is doing to destroy the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, is this really the site to post concerns regarding pets?
What about:
*immigrants
*voter suppression
*minority suppression
*constitutional rights for citizens
*repression of civil rights
*union/worker rights
*freedom of speech
Let the flames begin..................

If YOU don't want to talk about issues of animal cruelty - there's a VERY SIMPLE solution. DON'T CLICK ON THE F%CKING LINK.
AND DON'T TRY TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY CAN TALK ABOUT. It's rude as F%CK.

(16,925 posts)rude is your response.
I did not "TRY TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY CAN TALK ABOUT" (the CAPS were your response) - I questioned why in these times this was an issue on this site.
Good for you to walk and chew bubblegum - I'm sure your parents are proud.

(2,056 posts)It looks like each cat had it's own clear container with air holes on the side and bedding inside, except the two kittens were likely with the mother.
I looked at the low temperature for yesterday and it was 58 degrees. I could not see the day before. Whoever left the cats there made sure they would not get wet and had bedding. The cats looked like they had been taken care of based on what I could see.
Before anyone makes negative assumptions...for all anyone here knows the owner could be an illegal immigrant who is fearful of being deported and is too afraid to talk to anyone, especially in light of what is going on in the country. It could be that they captured stray cats in their neighborhood, too. It could be any number of things. Many shelters charge fees to take in animals and if someone is trying to find them a place to go due to not being able to afford to feed and care for them they sure as heck can't afford fees.

(9,527 posts)It must be difficult going through life never able to focus on the worst thing. But by your "logic" why would we discuss any of that given there are starving kids in the world? Isn't that more pressing than your list since there is a kid who dies from malnutrition every 10 seconds or so? What sort of heartless person would post about anything that is less pressing than that?

Why didn't you have the same concern here? Seems you supported it.

I'd say they're one of the top if not the top feline rescue organization in the United States. World class.

(4,394 posts)who couldn't afford spaying/neutering or food, realised things were getting out of hand and was too embarrassed to ring the doorbell.
At least they provided air holes and blankets and left them someplace they would be found.
People use to literally drown extra kittens in a weighted bag in the lake back in the day.
It's a sad situation but I don't think whoever did it should be condemned.

No great consolation it was cats.
Our family dogs are hard luck shelter animal stories, but they are radiators of joy because they seem to know things could have been much, much worse.
