1. That whole family is weird for relationships. Melania basically does not exist to him.

I expect as soon as he's out of the WH, she'll be shipped back off to Slovenia.

She dropped all the consonants and volume and resorted to garbles by the end of the sentence.

Trump and Melania have only been married for 12 years and Ivanka has been ingrained in the family business for much much longer than that. So I get why she has a bit more prominence than Melania, who's interests lie elsewhere.

It's weird, but after factoring in age and Trump's outlook on marriages and women not related to him, I get it.

The weirdest thing to me is Jared Kushner's influence on Trump. He's more prominent than his own sons.

I also suspect that he sees himself in Kushner's history, they are so similar.

She has her own business that she runs herself. She keeps a low profile to stay under the radar of all the criticisms aimed at the Trump family. Of course, it's rarely possible to know what's going on in other peoples' marriages, because we only see what they choose to show us. Maybe Melania and Trump love each other in their way, maybe not. But I give her kudos for keeping low profile and staying out of the limelight. God, who wouldn't want to distance themself from the big Cheeto?

I am not implying anything about her motivations, but given what we can see of his character and intelligence, what can we think of her motivations?

possible that some underling designs and markets the products sold under her "brand" and that her status as a business woman is no more real than the University degree Dolt used to pretend she had until it was fact- checked. I also don't think that her low profile is her own choice, as her husband doesn't seem like the type who would respect her wishes if that was not what he wanted. I certainly don't pretend to know the details of their marriage, but I have read that his attorneys wrote up prenuptial agreements before his other marriages which were extremely unfavorable to the cast-off wives.

aren't human beings to him. They are only extensions of his ego or objects to be manipulated. He sees Ivanka as the female version of him, which explains his fondness for her. I wouldn't even go so far to call it love, since I think he is incapable of it.
