Trump applauding himself

CNN just showed Trump's plane landing in Florida.
The door opens, Trump steps out and stands atop the stairs,
applauding himself.

I'm reminded of the old Soviet rulers who did the same thing,
standing atop a reviewing stand,
applauding themselves.

On another note, I've seen several Cabinet Secretaries be sworn in.
As Trump stands there, V.P. Pence reads the oath the Secretaries are to recite.
Can't Trump read?
