I'm in the thick of winter over here in Maine. Getting slammed with snow this week. Going to get a little more over the weekend and it's looking like an even bigger blizzard Monday than we had yesterday (maybe 2ft I'm hearing). I heard we might even have another storm Wednesday . I was up at 5:30 AM shoveling out this morning. Not my favorite thing to do. I don't like getting up at 5:30 AM (ever) and shoveling snow. Pretty cold and windy today too, but that is how it is around here this time of year. I had to help my husband out with the shoveling so he could get to work though. I work from home mostly, so doesn't matter for me. Lucky thing I didn't have to go any place today because the battery in our second car just went dead. It is a bit disruptive all the snow days the kids had this week (and will probably have next week). It throws me off a bit. It is nice to have the snow for skiing and sledding though. I'm doing OK, just though I'd share some of the "joys" of winter I've been experiencing this week. I'm glad I have a warm house right now. My dog is glad too. I took out for her potty walk early tonight and she kept stopping and holding up one of her paws because her feet were getting cold . I've tried the doggie booties and they just fall off her feet when she walks.

I abhor him as do the majority of Mainers. He isn't as scary as Trump though. LePage is basically an ineffective governor, but he hasn't been allowed to get away with too much because of our house and senate (I think he should have been impeached though).

There's supposed to be a new Pennywise movie coming out this year. I'm interested in seeing it mostly because I like Bill Skarsgard.

Aside from the news, I had to have floors replaced after a kitchen flood and the installers left suddenly before moving the furniture and stuff to the right place.

Aside from that, I am having a reaction to a medication the doctor put me on. The result is that I feel like I have the flu. Bleah.

Because of that, cleaning up my condo has been virtually impossible since I feel so shitty, I did manage to clean off the kitchen counters today, then I crashed.

I would dearly love a heart. Wish I could give you one.
