Betsy DeVos' brother, Erik Prince, is the founder of Blackwater/Xe, the mercenary outfit with the no-bid contract from BushCo that shot to death 17 innocent Iraqis at an intersection. The DeVos/Van Andel/Prince Dutch Mafia are as evil as they come. If they give any amount of money, they require that their name be put on whatever they donated. Grand Rapids is a sea of DeVos this and Van Andel that.

As an aside, many, many years ago, I worked in the green plant department at a florist in Grand Rapids when Betsy got married at the "DeVos Compound" in Ada, MI (just outside of Grand Rapids). It was an outdoor wedding, and the rose garden wasn't blooming. So, even though we didn't work in the floral department, we actually had to cut the stems off of 5,000 long-stemmed red roses, place them in water-filled glass tubes and twist tie them to the rose bushes. My hands hurt for days. To this day, it's the most ludicrous thing I've ever done.

I would not know that being an American. I did travel to London once. There was a public transportation strike going on, made it hard to get around. I hitched rides instead, I was young and having fun. I worked out, I had some interesting experiences. Ha!
