Does The Great Big Businessman Realize How Many Tourism Dollare Were Lost Last Week

180 mil according to CBS this morning and it's continuing. Planes, hotels, Internet like Expedia. Even those who can come are afraid to. Six weeks and it will be over a billion.

But they, hoteliers and airline CEOs, do and the CEO of Expedia, who was not born in this country, really cares.

All her clients have cancelling now. These are Americans; they do
not want to travel internationally in this climate. She expects
little to no business this year.

Not a problem.

The time before that was in March, 2001, on a trip with husband and sons to Australia. We were frequently asked what we thought of the new President, and we were at pains to explain that we had NOT voted for him, and that we were appalled by him. Sigh. That seems like such an innocent time now.
