Here's a word problem from a new, Devos-era arithmetic book.

This example is taken from the teacher's edition, which includes the correct answers:

There are four children at a table for nutrition break. 21 pieces of candy are in a bowl on the table. How many pieces does each child receive?

Correct answer: Seven. The three white, Christian children each get seven pieces. The fourth child, who is black and a Muslim, gets none, and is promptly arrested by ICE officers for deportation when the nutrition break is over.
