How many GOP elected officials do you think are so deluded that they believe the lies?

Because it's obvious that a large block of GOP voters who choose to live in the Fox News and Alex Jones bubble actually believe in this insanity. Millions of illegals voting, death panels etc. But I wonder what percentage of GOP senators etc actually remain wilfully ignorant. Believe in the kool-aid they drink. And which know the truth but choose to lie because they are basically evil.

I think most of them believe in the Free Market Fairy. They also believe an economy can be run without a demand side. Most believe people are poor because they're lazy. A great many of them believe in Rich Man's Calvinism.

As for Trump's fantasy that terrorists all come from countries he doesn't do business with, they know that's bunk.

The whole pull yourself up by your bootstraps garbage that also believes that the concept of priveledge doesn't exist.

Indeed I also believe they believe that lie. And that's actually a much larger lie.

When an elected official is taunted in their home district, and it's covered in the news and social media, I think they know they aren't fooling anyone.

They've gotta figure out that pretending that they don't believe the lies isn't gonna work if they want to keep returning to Washington.

Just so the voters believe it and keep voting for them. White wing politics 101.

I don't think Ryan, McConnel, McCain, Graham, etc. believe that crap. But, more than happy to play along.

by the persons cutting their Campaign Checks. Laughingly years ago there was a name for this and it was catching the D.C. virus. It becomes money and power and the Social Contacts that drives their ambitions.
