Mr. Trump’s order widens the pool of undocumented immigrants to be deported. It includes not only those convicted of crimes but also those not yet charged who are believed to have committed “acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense.”

That encompasses immigrants charged with crimes that haven’t yet been adjudicated; who improperly received a government benefit; used a fake ID to secure work and were caught driving without a license. Those who lied on applications and forms are also targets, according to the order.

You know what the infamous "they" say - forewarned is forearmed. (And upper armed, too!)

It just occurred to me that this, too, is resistance. Knowledge is power - AND resistance. Arm yourself with knowledge. Knows and understand what they're up to. The more you know, the less trump & comp can buffalo you. Make sure you aren't fooled. At this point, seems to me NOTHING that ANY of 'em say in that miserable misbegotten White House can be believed or trusted anymore. Track record. They've proven themselves with their track record. Their past behavior. Seems to me we've seen enough not to be fooled any longer. Past and prologue and all that.

I don't know their legal status but in any case they probably have friends who might need help.
