Years ago I worked with a woman who was an absolute brainwashed Catholic. Opposed to contraception. She'd married her equally brainwashed husband at 18 and after a number of miscarriages, gave up and they adopted their son. So she had no concept that sometimes people might want to have sex and not get pregnant. Typical of the breed, if it hasn't happened to her personally she could not fathom the idea.
